Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American comedian and actress is often referred to as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents, she began her career as a child actor soon after her move to the United States. She is best known for her appearances in AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and in 2020 (since 2020 (since). She was a regular host on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015) and was a regular in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub, who was originally cast as the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's pilot that was never aired for New Warriors in 2018, has voiced the character since. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and is a Jew. Her parents, who were both just two years old, emigrated to America to escape antisemitism. They were settled in West Hollywood. Because of her family's financial problems, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School briefly and then dropped out during her second year. Then, she earned a GED, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at University of California, San Diego. She studied improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
